President's Message
It has been my honor to serve as your President this past year. Once again our chapter received NAHCR's Chapter Achievement Award! What an honor for me to accept this award during Image 2011 in Raleigh, NC.
We've been productive this past year, hosting a panel discussion with the NJ Student Nurses Association, another successful food drive for a local church, our guest speakers shared best practices during each of our meetings. We awarded two scholarship recipients with a $1,000 to an Advanced Practice Nurse and to an Allied Health Professional. These are only a few of our accomplishments this past year.
I look forward to a successful 2011- 2012 season; our Executive Committee is working hard on planning a Recruiter Workshop in September 2011; our speaker line up promises to bring our members relevant information and more best practices. We look forward to initiating a "New Member" mentor program as well as a webinar/informational session on NJAHR's Succession Planning. I hope you join me as we embark on our new journey!
